Admissions and enrollment

Start with a tour and a clear conversation

Learning Ladders enrolls children from 8 weeks through 6 years based on age, schedule, campus fit, and classroom availability.

How admissions works

A straightforward process for families

The best first step is to speak with us and visit the school. During a tour, families can see the classrooms, discuss curriculum and schedule needs, and receive tuition information.

  1. 1

    Schedule a tour

Share your child’s age, preferred timing, campus needs, and target start date.

  2. 2

    Discuss fit and availability

We review classroom placement, schedule options, tuition details, and next steps.

  3. 3

    Complete registration

When an opening is offered, registration documents and required fees secure placement.

Admissions are year-round and first-come based on availability for the desired start date and schedule. If a classroom is not available, your application can remain on file for future contact when space opens.

Any fee once paid is non-refundable. Families are encouraged to stay in touch by email or phone to check for possible openings.

Frequently requested information

Common questions before enrollment

Pre-admission process

How do I schedule a tour?

We do personal tours during school hours Monday through Friday. We recommend calling or emailing to set up a time that works with your schedule and gives us enough detail to discuss your family’s needs. Tours typically last up to 30 minutes.

What is the procedure post tour?

After each tour we send a follow-up email to see if you have any questions and to get your feedback. A tour is the first step toward building a relationship based on trust.

When will school notify me of openings?

School is generally able to notify parents of openings 1-3 months in advance for all classes except infant care, where planning can happen about 6 months in advance.

Tuition

Is tuition prorated for a mid-month start or withdrawal?

Tuition is not prorated despite the start date or end date. Full month’s tuition is due.

Is tuition due if my child is absent or school is closed?

Full tuition according to your child’s schedule is due on the first of the month irrespective of absence, closings, vacations, or holidays.

Is there a sibling discount?

There is a 10% sibling discount on total monthly tuition. A sibling receives preference in admissions over new incoming registrations.

Child development

How am I notified of my child’s progress?

Each parent receives an individualized daily report through Tadpoles outlining the school day, supported by pictures of classroom activities. The school also sends a monthly newsletter with class calendars, updates, events, and other details.

When is my child moved up the class?

In the Early Education Center, children move up year-round based on age-appropriate milestones, classroom expectations, and age. In the primary school, students move up at the beginning of each new school year in September.

Can I set up a time to meet with the teachers?

We plan formal parent-teacher meetings for all ages three times a year and encourage families to email or call school to discuss progress.
